Is is better to have dirty hair for my appointment?

Please come with clean hair to your appointment! When there's too much product buildup or oil on the hair it makes it harder for the bleach or color to work at its full efficacy.

How often should I wash my hair?

Immediately following your appointment, I ask that you wait at least 48 hours before you wash your hair. This gives your hair cuticle time to close, therefore giving your color more longevity.

Generally speaking, you should be washing your hair at least 2-3 times per week to maintain a healthy scalp and hair!

How often should blondes use purple shampoo/masks?

Purple shampoos should NOT be used within the first two weeks of your blonding. These shampoos are very harsh and can pull out the gloss that was put in your hair. I recommend using a purple mask or shampoo once a week, or less depending on your specific hair needs. Overuse of these products will cause buildup, which can make your hair appear darker, and dull. If you prefer a shampoo over a mask, I recommend using a hydrating deep conditioner to pair with it, as purple shampoos can leave your hair feeling dry.
